Kethaera is the online "artistic" name I have chosen to represent myself in the online world. My real world name is April Burgess, and I'm a resident of a small town called Tahlequah, Oklahoma, United States.

I'm a stay-at-home, now work-at-home, mom to my two incredibly beautiful sons, although I might be just a bit biased about that. At the time I am writing this, they are 3 years old and 1 ¹/₂ years.

I used to think I did not have much artistic ability since I can't wield a pencil like my father, but a whole new world opened up for me when I first got a personal computer and discovered the free, open source image program called The GIMP. I've been spending the time since that day practicing, practicing, practicing, as well as researching and learning from others. Since I'm something of a geek, it didn't take me long to start taking what I was learning about art and applying it to websites, and so I started learning to code as well.

On top of spending far too much time on the computer and enjoying the company of my husband and kids, I also enjoy Sci-Fi movies and TV shows, reading ebooks on my iPod, playing the occasional video game, and shirking household chores.
